Bristol is one of the most innovative, diverse and welcoming cities in the UK. As a hotbed of music, film, animation and game development artistry, it’s also an epicentre of the creative industries. With a thriving independent art scene, some of the best venues in the country and the likes of Massive Attack, Roni Size, Idles and Heavy Lungs calling the city home, there’s no wonder Bristol draws in so many creative minds. So, where better for a dBs Institute campus!?

Our Campus

At dBs Bristol, our facilities and teaching staff are second-to-none. Bristol students are taught a broad variety of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes by a team of excellent tutors from a vast range of professional backgrounds. With deep-rooted connections in the local scene, we provide our students in Bristol with external industry opportunities as well as real-life briefs via our commercial arm dBs Pro.

All of this is backed up by a comprehensive guest lecture programme that, in the recent past, has included Hospital Records, DJ Krust, Bjørn Jacobsen (Sound designer for Hitman, Cyberpunk 2077, DARQ), Sylvia Massy (American record producer, Tool, Tom Petty), Kat Marsh (Vocalist and arranger for Bring Me The Horizon, Choir Noir), Gordon Raphael (American record producer of The Strokes) and many more at the top of their game in the industry.

      Why Choose Bristol

“Everyone's so caring and enthusiastic… If I was struggling with something, I could speak to whoever the module was being run by. They would sacrifice their own time to sit down and talk to me and help me. It's just that sense of being taught by people who really know what they're talking about, but also really care.”
